Peres’s Wand
Perse’s Wand ✨
A relic fit for a Sea Queen ✨ Perse in Greek Mythology was a Sea Nymph connected to witchcraft. She famously was the mother to Circe ( a powerful enchantress and minor goddess in Greek mythology, known for her skill in potions and herbs, and her ability to transform people into animals, famously turning Odysseus’s men into swine..her likeness has been covered in all sorts of art and even in Willow ✨).
Perse tho was my main go I for this piece since she hails from the sea. Her name means “slay” and “destroyer”. There is also the male counter part, also has the same spelling and is more related to destruction. However the Nymph Perse’s tale is more associated with Magick and nature.
14 inches, lead free molten metal. shell is painted gold, with a brass cameo of Perse. One pearl and two abalone settings along with a blue green gemy apatite.
