Over the past couple of years I have been working on using less metal in my pieces. The prices of metal continue to climb and I want to make my art but also make it affordable. I have been working hard to re-shape my pieces to reflect this and also keep up with sustainability.
Many of the materials used in my handmade pieces are thoughtfully sourced secondhand—broken jewelry, forgotten treasures, and items that have seen better days. By giving these materials a second life, I aim to reduce my environmental footprint while transforming what might otherwise end up in a landfill into something meaningful and beautiful.
